Lots of great stuff happening in the world of Xbox this week. We’ve got new Fable 2 monster renders, an unexpectedly awesome Lost Odyssey trailer, new Xbox Originals titles on the way (according to the ESRB) and even a guide to help 360 owners find a more reliable Falcon model Xbox 360 (less prone to get the dreaded RROD, you see). Not only that, but we’ve got a brand new feature, Video Marketplace Weekly, which lists all the latest releases on the XBVM. Pretty handy if you ask …

With the revelation that the playable cast of Street Fighter II would be returning for Street Fighter IV came one burning question: where are the damned pictures? Of course, the story originated from Japanese gaming mag Famitsu, so the answer is pretty simple. Famitsu has now been so gracious as to put the screens on their website for all to see. All told we have in-game shots of Chun-Li, Blanka, Zangief, Guile, E. Honda, Dhalsim, and newcomer Crimson Viper (how come everyone else gets normal names?). The article …

The humorous and ever so witty dev team over at Bizarre Creations got a little creative with their achievements for upcoming title The Club. So creative, they somehow managed to one-up Gears of War’s “Seriously” achievement.
Looking over The Club‘s achievements one will quickly notice an achievement by the name of “No, Seriously” which can only be earned if a player gets 10,001 kills in ranked multiplayer. This, of course, is a direct reference to GoW‘s famous (and nearly impossible to obtain) “Seriously” achievement where gamers …

Speaking at an event in London yesterday, EA executive producer Glen Schofield assured gamers that the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of Dead Space will be identical. “The plan has to be, and it will be, on parity with the 360,” said Schofield, responding to a question about any potential differences between the two versions. When asked about the challenges of multiplatform development, Schofield responded that it was “difficult.” He added, however, that while development thus far has been lead on the Xbox 360 version of …

Civil War reenactments are a fascinating thing. People crowd around to watch an epic battle and they already know the outcome. That’s like watching Titanic and really hoping they drift past that infamous iceberg. Apparently the folks at Forge Hub are so enthralled with historic battles that they’re willing to throw one lucky winner 1600 MS Points in their Shell Shocked Contest. The contest is open to anyone who can create the most accurate portrayal of a historic battle using the Forge mode in Halo 3, …

Talking with the folks over at MTV Multiplayer, Criterion Games confirmed that new Burnout Paradise downloadable content is on its way in the near future and they promise to not divide the community. Criterion explained that any upcoming Paradise DLC (whether paid or free) will be released in such a way that it will allow “everyone to ‘see’ the content, even if they have not paid for it”. We aren’t sure how Criterion plans on implementing this “look, just don’t play” method of DLC, but we’re sure they’ll …

As journalists, this is exactly the sort of thing we’re supposed to avoid, yet try as we might, we can’t help but be inordinately excited for Viking: Battle for Asgard. It’s like someone took the narrative style of 300, infused it with the tale of Beowulf, and then tossed in the epic battles of The Lord of the Rings. How can anyone not dig that? It doesn’t hurt that the actual gameplay looks rock solid too. Granted, we won’t know if it actually feels solid until we can …

Pandora’s Box obsessors and FPS lovers will be excited to know that Spark Unlimited’s Legendary: The Box is guaranteed to be releasing onto the Xbox 360 sometime this Summer. Exact release date still unknown.
If you recall, Legendary was first introduced to us last July when we learned about the game’s whole griffin, werewolf, Pandora’s Box twist. Are we still interested by the game? Yes, yes we are. We’re interested because the whole “killing mythical monsters that come from a box” theme still intrigues us a bit and because …
