If you don’t watch a lot of TV then you might miss these Gran Turismo 5 Prologue commercials. Or they’re only airing in Europe. Or if you do watch a lot of Television and see these, you might want to see them again. So here are two TV spots for the upcoming driving simulator — and they look spectacular. The second one can be found after the jump, because we don’t want to put too much awesome up front and overwhelm …

GameDaily had a chat with Sony Online Entertainment president John Smedley about the recent Sony corporate shuffle and what’s going to happen to SOE as a result of this. According to Smedley, the change is “an opportunity and not a restriction” as SOE will have better proximity to SCE and will possibly develop more intimately for the PS3.
He backed up his opportunity claim by stating that console MMOs have a huge potential for growth as consoles are stable online-capable platforms, and already have a massive user-base. He …

Want to be part of the biggest Fanboy coalition in the Joystiq network? Good, because we’re looking for some fresh faces. PS Fanboy is finally recruiting, and we’d like to see you join us. We’re looking for PlayStation enthusiasts — those that actually play games on the PSP (they really exist, trust us). We’re looking for people with Blu-ray libraries, an appreciation of all things PixelJunk, and/or a pair of Metal Gear underpants. Most importantly, we’re looking for capable writers that are interested in getting paid to write about games.
Please …

According to Ubisoft, the nectar-sucking first person shooter Haze is going to remain a PS3 exclusive for all time. It was expected to be a timed exclusive, but Ubisoft reps are now saying it will “never” go to another console. Those who want to play the adventures of Mr. Lightbulb Head will have no joy on the Xbox 360.
The decision is stated to be recent, but definite. So far, no official announcement has been made, but the reps were apparently very sure of themselves, so I guess we can expect …

The upcoming Gran Turismo 5 Prologue for PlayStation 3 has already reached a milestone, with SCEE confirming the title has reach one million in European pre-orders. That pretty much assures the racer of hitting platinum status within its first week of release.
For those wishing to go the download route, Prologue will only cost your hard drive 1.9 GB. Filling out the remainder of the Blu-ray disc version are cinematics from the game, still available to the downloaded version in-game through GT TV. …

This console generation has had no shortage of off-road racing games, from some that were terribly fun to others that were just terrible. While not completely bankrupt of merit, MX vs. ATV Untamed certainly edged closer to the latter end of this spectrum, especially compared to the likes of Motorstorm or DiRT, though this has not dissuaded publisher THQ from keeping at it. This day the company announced a new off-road racer named Baja, currently in development at 2XL …

We’ve just been sent word that our buddies over at The Behemoth have launched a super new and super informative Castle Crashers development blog over on their official site. A blog aimed at giving fans and insider’s look into the development process and the crazy minds behind one of the most highly anticipated XBLA games this year.
Currently, the Castle Crashers dev blog is a little bare bones (it did just launch, so be understanding), but already they’ve posted a brief introduction and an intriguing video …

This Xbox Live Arcade Wednesday, we’ll sadly not be treated to any new Arcade releases. And we agree, that’s a stinker. But there is a bright spot this week when, this Wednesday, March 19th, both the previously released XBLA games Assault Heroes and Doom will graduate to Xbox Live Arcade Hits status. And, as everyone knows, when an XBLA game becomes an Arcade Hit it means that its price gets slashed and in this case, in half to 400 Microsoft points each. No new releases …

D3Publisher just announced a new Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords expansion that’s set to release to the Xbox Live Marketplace sometime this Spring and it’s packed full of goodies. It’ll be an expansion comprised of four new Hero professions, new items, new spells, new quests, new monsters, a new enemy and the list goes on and on. It’s an exciting piece of DLC for fans of Puzzle Quest, except there is one tiny problem. D3Publisher doesn’t have a name for the DLC … oops.
So …
