Just a couple of more days until Grand Theft Auto IV is finally released, boys and girls! You’re probably noticing many sites giving their reviews of the game and releasing a ton of new media. I don’t know about you, but I’m avoiding all of that stuff like I would avoid a girl’s yeast infection by going in her rear.
One thing I don’t mind seeing now, though, is a bird’s-eye view of Liberty City. The amount of detail and the draw distance is simply incredible. I did notice a couple of small pop-ins in a few spots in the video. I’ve been hearing blended things on the pop-in issue, with some saying it’s horrible and some saying they’ve no major issues with it (in regards to the Xbox 360 version). Guess we won’t know for sure how bad it is until it’s released Tuesday.
G4 has a few new videos out showing off some of the things you can do in the game, which you can check out on G4’s site. X-Play will also have a one-hour special dedicated to all things GTA IV at 8 PM Eastern tomorrow. I will miss all of this because I’ll be going into hiding until Tuesday at midnight.
