Citing resources and the fact that they’re “not PS3 developers,” Valve’s Doug Lombardi confirmed that there are currently no plans to bring the first-person zombie shooter, Left 4 Dead, to the PlayStation 3.

According to Lombardi, who recently spoke with CVG, Left 4 Dead’s new IP status means the game “doesn’t have that guaranteed appeal yet.” Provided the game does well (and by all accounts there’s no reason it shouldn’t), it’s possible we may see a PS3 version somewhere down the line.
