Attention, soldiers! It looks like the Bionic Commando Rearmed remake is going AWOL for a little bit longer. According to a message on the BC website’s Communicator, the game is complete but missing its scheduled Might release date. The game is reportedly done but has a few bug fixes and submissions procedures to battle.
To spare you the hassle of clicking through a whole lot of retro text boxes (and it was a pain), we’ve provided transcription of the message after the break.

In news post yesterday, Penny Arcade’s Gabe revealed the top four ideal launches ever for Xbox Live Arcade, with the launch window being the first three days of availability. The list is as follows:
- Rez HD, 25k units
- Ikaruga, 22.5k units
- Penny Arcade Adventures Episode 1, 16.5k units
- N+, 13k units
Honestly, we’re a bit surprised by the initial success of Rez and Ikaruga. Not that we didn’t want them to succeed (they really are awesome games), but we didn’t anticipate to see Xbox Live community rally so quickly around years-old re-releases. Now, if we could only see data for worst XBLA launches, or even total Rez playtime using multiple controllers as trance vibrators.

Those keeping up on Grand Theft Auto IV (that’s all of you, right?) will remember that a few weeks ago Michael Hollick, ideal known as the voice of Niko Bellic in GTAIV, was covered by the New York Times in an article pointing out that the actor will receive no residuals or royalties of any kind for his performance. It’s important to note that he doesn’t point the finger at Rockstar but rather the Screen Actors Guild, which does not have specific rules regarding electronic performances.
While Hollick might have landed the New York Times, Jason Zumwalt, the voice of Niko’s cousin Roman, has turned to YouTube. Where it could be argued that Hollick’s approach to the matter had a certain degree of tact, Zumwalt’s approach is a bit … different. Essentially, he’s asking gamers to “Rent Roman.” It’s all a tiny hard to explain. Maybe you should just watch the video. Find it after the break (NSFW thanks to some salty language).

Microsoft just announced tomorrow’s Xbox Live Arcade releases and finally, after a mild drought, we’re getting an XBLA twofer with both Buku Sudoku and Warlords seeing a release on Wednesday.
Available for purchase off the XBLA for 800 Microsoft points is Merscom’s Buku Sudoku, a puzzle word game featuring over 1,200 puzzles, on the internet multiplayer, co-op and well … lots of Sudoku puzzles. Over fifteen Sudoku books of puzzles … or so we’re told. The other half of this week’s XBLA twofer is Stainless Games’ 400 MS point Warlords, a remake of the classic Warlords but in prettified HD and four player Xbox Live support. Though, if you want to be all old-school, they’ve generously added a pixel-perfect remake of the classic. Browse the screenshots below and ponder an XBLA buy.

Capcom has beamed us a couple of announcements, with the biggest being the official console announcement for Street Fighter IV. Both the Xbox and 360 versions were pretty much a given, but the Personal computer one took us by surprise. Well, not really; we’ve been hearing rumors about a Computer version for a while now. I guess actually seeing the words “Windows-based PC” direct from Capcom made it real.
The other announcement lets us know that Lost Planet: Extreme Conditions COLONIES EDITION has shipped to retailers. This also concerns Computer gamers, as this title a PC/console cross-platform affair. This new version also brings

As promised, Harmonix just released yet another complete album of Rock Band DLC, and this time we’re treated to The Cars’ self titled album “The Cars”. W00t!
Available for purchase off the XBLM are nine new Rock Band DLC tracks from The Cars, each available for 160 Microsoft points apiece or bundled together as an album for 1200 points. Which, if you’re interested, makes an album purchase a savings of 240 points over purchasing each track individually. Check the break for a list of all nine new Rock Band DLC tracks.

Having teased the new series early last month, Rooster Teeth has finally launched the new offshoot of Red vs Blue, Reconstruction. The first episode, entitled “Reconstructed,” is now available, with future episodes planned each Monday. The first episode eschews the traditional humor found in the Red vs Blue series in favor of some rather extensive exposition. From the looks of things though, we’re expecting a return to form in episode two. Sharp-eyed viewers will notice that the video takes a dip into the Halo 2 engine near the end of the episode, and several characters from original series are mentioned as well. Whatever happens, you can bet we’ll be keeping an eye out for episode two next week.
