With the Spore Creature Creator tool package set to be available this week for the PCs, we’re sure you’re looking forward to designing your own unique creatures. I messed around with it a bit last night, and it’s great fun putting legs and eyes where they don’t belong and then watching the creature struggle with its existence.
Word on the street is that the demo software for the Creature Creator leaked a bit early on this here Internets, and it appears the perverts have gotten their hands on it already. The folks over at GameVideos brought this video to our attention, and well … I’m not sure I have the ability to describe it without getting you fired from your job. As for the video, it may or might not be safe for work, depending on whether or not your boss thinks video of a creature screwing itself is “safe for work.”
For more information and impressions of the Spore Creature Creator, check out our recent hands-on preview.

I just completed Call of duty 4 a few weeks ago and boy was it astounding. The gameplay and storyline was superb. When I was done I was rather dissapointed because I was done one of the greatest games of all time. Now I’ve been informed that Call of Duty 5 is actually going to be released soon. That makes me feel all hyped up and well enough of me pouring out my feelings. Here’s the trailer.

It’s time for another exciting edition of the too fun and too exciting Xbox 360 video game box art reveal of awesomeness reloaded! Where this day, thanks to Microsoft, we bring you the official box art for Rare’s Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts in all its bear, bird, nuts, bolts and wrench glory. And we’ll admit, it’s a pretty nicely designed box art. Our favorite Nuts and Bolts box art design decision has to be the centering of Banjo’s square nose on the cover, because we’ve something about adorably square cartoon noses. Too fun!

No, it’s not a news related OMG Megaton. It’s more like a “holy effing crap, look at all these games” kind of megaton. There are ten, ten games hitting the Xbox 360 this week. What’s more, a lot of them look decent and, dare we say it, some of them even look good. Just look at all of ‘em.
It’s enough to give someone googly eyes. Alone in the Dark has our interest piqued (and has thus far fared decently in Europe). Here’s hoping it — and everything else here — is up to snuff.

Your memory isn’t failing you, way back in April Atari did promise to release an Alone in the Dark demo to the XBLM by the end of Might. Thus far, we still haven’t seen it although the game hits retailers this week. But fear not, you can still safely hold out hope for an Alone in the Dark demo, because Atari has re-confirmed with Eurogamer that they still plan on releasing the demo in the “coming weeks”. Honestly, we were excited to try the demo simply because we thought it would release prior to the game’s official release, since then our demo excitement level has decreased a bit. We also don’t know if we should trust Atari’s word anymore, so we’ll just have to wait and see if their latest promise ends up being fulfilled in the next few weeks.

No one likes riding in the middle of a car’s backseat area. You’re sandwiched in, crushed from one side and into the other regardless of which way the driver has to turn, and worst of all, the position is often associated with a derogatory term for the female dog.
If you’re cunning, though, the role of middle-backseat passenger can be used to harness the strengths of both your fellow rear passengers for your own good. Forge a temporary alliance during one turn so that you and one passenger crush the other against his door. Then, on an opposite turn, revoke the ceasefire and cause much harm to your former ally.
Namco Bandai’s Smash Court Tennis 3 makes similar use of its middle position against its two primary competitors, SEGA’s Virtua Tennis 3 and 2K Sports’s Top Spin 3. “You’ve got Virtua Tennis at the arcade end of the spectrum, and you’ve got Top Spin at the Simulation end,” explained Smash Court Tennis 3 producer David Geudelekian during a current preview event. “Smash Court Tennis very intelligently tows the middle ground. You can jump right into the game and [within] 30 seconds, you can play an arcade-style match: lots of powerups, sensitive aim. But there’s also a really deep experience if you want more of a simulation.”
