SouthPeak Games’ super-cute puzzle game Roogoo is now available on the PC for everyone that hasn’t already downloaded it on Xbox Live Arcade.

Roogoo’s story revolves around collecting the different shaped meteors that regularly fall on the planet Roo before King Moo’s — previously King Goo — son, Prince Moo, can. The reason for this is because King Moo ate some of these meteors and used them to power big cities, thereby corrupting the native Roogoo by turning them into Meemoo. Your band of Roogoo freedom fighters is planning to use the meteors to restore everyone before the king can use them to make things even worse.

Yeah, the story really isn’t all that important. All you need to know is that you’ll be matching blocks with similarly shaped holes by rotating various platforms. The gameplay itself is pretty easy and straightforward, but that doesn’t stop it from being a fun timewaster.

One thing I would advocate if you’re thinking about getting this game and have a 360 is to download it on that. The reason being that the Computer release costs $20, $10 more than on XBLA, and doesn’t appear to include any extras.
