DragonBall Z…we have all been a fan of it one time or another. Me personally, I have always been a fan of the supernatural anime fighting that is DragonBall Z. To continue on, I just received my copy today in the mail and when I opened it I was excited and for good reason as well. The cover alone got me pumped to play the game. But priorities first, I had to go and buy some groceries and each second away from the game felt like an eternity. So finally, I get home, turn on my 360 and pop in the game. The next thing I knew I was witnessing one of the greatest graphical introductions I had ever seen. It looked exactly like the real thing I had watched a few years ago and this is really an achievement considering some games still have that 2d feel to it. But this game had that perfect 3d feel that made me feel like I was actually Goku (A.k.a Kakarote). I was about to begin story mode but then my cousins came over. They saw me playing and like any normal people wanted to play as well. I started multiplayer and didn’t expect much but it was definetly something. My cousin here was one of the best gamers I had ever seen so of course I got beat. But that didn’t matter to me. I was too into it; the moves, the kamehameha, the energy, the beams, the power, the graphics, the transformation into a super saiyan, and overall just the gameplay style. We played for about 2 hours then came some more priorities, I had to go out and do some gardening :(… I will skip the boring parts. I came back in alone 1 hour later and turned the game back on. I wanted to play live for a while. I turned on live and started. There weren’t that many people on but there were still some (about 65) and nevertheless the people that faced me, beat me. It was my first day playing so you can’t really blame me. I decided I would get a superior feeling for the game so I decided that I should finally start story mode.  The beginning of the story mode is probably the best. It really entices you. It’s similar to the show but different at the same time. I personally would say that it has a superior storyline than the actual show which is another reason why you should purchase it. As the story goes on your character develops and there are also some secrets you can uncover. The scenes in between make it even more exciting. I won’t reveal too much because seriously it’s worth it to purchase it for yourself. Believe me it’s the ideal game of it’s kind. Atari has really outdone themselves this time and has set the bar high for future releases. So why I’m here telling you about the game? Well basically it’s because I had to share it with the world or at least the readers of my blog. I told most of my friends and they have committed to buying it in a while. A little bit more about the game before I go. You can purchase this for the Xbox 360 or the Playstation 3. With either system you can play on the web and you can play single player (story mode) or multiplayer. The STORY MODE is awesome like I said before so yeah whatever you do, at least try it. Overall I would rate the game 9/10 just because of the breathtaking gameplay, sound effects, secrets, and the stunning graphics.
