During their announcement of Animal Crossing: City Folk at E3, Nintendo announced a new “community microphone” called WiiSpeak — from the look of it, it sits on your TV right on top of the sensor bar, and Nintendo states it’ll let you speak with other players around the world.

Could Banjo Kazooie answer Microsoft’s platformer mascot questions? Wait, did Microsoft have platformer mascot questions? Anyway, the game looks great so far but we have to repeat something we mentioned earlier that’s twice as awesome — the original Banjo Kazooie is coming …

Halo Wars, the unfortunately delayed RTS from famed PC developers Ensemble Studios, is looking better every time we see it. The latest screenshots are no different. Showcasing the epic battles of a world before a lone Spartan was called into action, Halo Wars is certain to be a blockbuster title when it hits in Spring 2009 exclusively on the Xbox 360. As an added bonus, Microsoft included a trio of stills from the awesome CGI trailer — which you can watch now on X3F Television!
