Jay Wilson, Julian Love, Wyatt Cheng from Blizzard were the first panel from BlizzCon, which was all about the Diablo III class system, including its tweaks and special effects. Unfortunately, we didn’t get any more hints at the other two classes which haven’t been announced yet. However, with the Witchdoctor and Wizard being so magic heavy, we’re sure they’ll add another physical fighter that isn’t quite as massive as the Barbarian. Head after the break to get the new details …

Diablo III’s director Jay Wilson recently told an audience at BlizzCon that Blizzard and Activision are looking to make some money with the Battle.Net service. How Blizzard will be seeking to “monetize” is unknown, but Wilson said it was necessary to keep the financially crippled Blizzard alive and kicking.
From the panel discussion:
We are looking to monetize Battle.Net so that we get to keep making these games and updating features. We kind of have to.

Wilson didn’t elaborate, but I think we all know how much Blizzard has been suffering the …

The WoW nutbag goes by the name of Bradster, leading me to believe it is our very own Brad Nicholson. The 36 accounts costs him $5711 in subscription fees: “Not bad considering I’m looking at it like …

LA-based developer/publisher Riot Games has announced that its first title will be League of Legends, an on the web team-based game that mixes role-playing and real-time strategy elements, for the Computer. The LoL development team is partially made up of former modders that developed the popular Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne mod, Defense of the Ancients, so I imagine that the two projects will have quire a bit in common; heck, even the screenshots in the gallery are showing a Warcraft III graphical direction.
League of Legends will see players taking …

Hey Dtoiders! I’m happy to announce that we’ve a PC sponsor again (Intel), so we’ve the opportunity to run a few PC-related contests. Instead of coming up with random prizes to give away we’re curious as to what you guys actually need or are lusting after irrationally already. Think of this as a dynsfunctional letter to Santa Claus, as I might get exactly what you want … but some other guy you know might end up stealing from you.
