Microsoft has patented an audio censoring technology with obvious application to Xbox Live. The patent covers real-time and batch analysis of audio data streams with the capability to render “undesired” words or phrases unintelligible or inaudible. Can you envision if this power falls into the wrong hands?

Introversion’s latest indie gem, Multiwinia: Survival of the Flattest, has received a new demo complete with on the internet multiplayer to go alongside the full game which is going for the sexy price of $9.99.
It’s worth noting that demo players can access fully-fledged battles when they’re being hosted over LAN by someone who has already paid. In other words, if you bought Multiwinia, invite your friends over and they can partake in the strategy goodness for absolutely free.

The above image is the German cover art for Valve’s upcoming zombie shooter, Left 4 Dead. Can you see what’s wrong with this picture?
