Jackie Estacado is an indestructible demigod. At least that’s what the early stages of a recent demo for The Darkness 2 taught me about the game’s main character. After unnamed assailants quite literally crash the dinner he had just sat down to eat — subsequently murdering the erotic dancers he’s dining with, of course — Jackie’s hurt pretty badly. Stomping in alien faces underneath the surface of Mars is going to have to wait. THQ has announced that it’s delayed Red Faction: Armageddon. No huge deal, though, it’s only by about a week — the game will now ship on June 10 internationally, instead of the end of may as originally planned.

At last, Barnes and Noble is defending itself against the Microsoft lawsuit filed back in March claiming that B&N’s Android-based “e-reader and tablet devices” are infringing upon Microsoft’s IP. A portfolio strengthened significantly thanks to that little Nokia partnership. We’re not going to pick apart B&N’s filing in detail.
