Max Payne 3 is out tomorrow for the PC, and with the release comes the launch trailer showing off just how sexy the game looks on PC. This version, as any respectable PC release of a game should have, includes advanced graphics options, scalable high-resolution textures, DirectX11 features, 3D, LAN, and multi-monitor support too.
I’ve been playing Max Payne 3 on the Xbox 360 this past week and am blown away by how great the game is. Check out our official review to hold you over until tomorrow.

It’s on Apple’s iPhone and iPad, but this is the ITV Player, not the rumored iTV supposedly under development in Cupertino. After initially launching last summer (along with an Android version) offering streaming video on-demand, the UK channel’s iOS app has been updated to version 2.0 to offer a live streaming feed of its two channels. Other than just ITV1 and ITV2 over WiFi or 3G, if there’s a live event being broadcast that isn’t on either, you’ll still be able to tune in via the app. Other …

A few months ago, GOG.com revealed that they would continue to re-release classic PC games on their service whilst also releasing brand new games through their service. At their Summer conference today, we got to know the next 4 games to be released.
On the classic side of things, Sid Meier’s Colonization is a real treat for strategy fans. On the more action orientated side GOG.com have announced Tomb Raider bundle containing the first 3 Lara Croft games. Looks like it’s time to take on that T-rex again.
On the newer side, we saw …

Well the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. It was just last month we were finding about PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale for PS3 through Sony-owned domain registrations, and now the Vita version has been outed in the same fashion. Twitter user Superannuation has discovered a block of domains with various combinations on the title and “Vita”, including PlayStationAllStarsVita.com, PSAllStarsBattleRoyaleVita.com, and BattleRoyaleTheGameVita.com.
So, who’s rooting for cross platform play with the PlayStation 3 version? My Super Smash Bros. lovin’ self will be mighty jealous if that happens.

Always leave your PC on while you watch the latest Game of Thrones? Someone at Microsoft evidently does. A granted patent outlines a model that uses historical usage data to predict when it might be able to tweak power needs of the processor in the future, and for how long. So, perhaps you leave your machine on overnight, and jump on at 8am every day? It’d know this and make frugal use of resources accordingly. This, of course, could help fill your pockets and maybe cover that upgrade.

I adore The Binding of Isaac. It’s one of those games with a bite-sized length which lends itself perfectly to a mid-day work distraction and, as a result, I’ve played it nearly to the point of full completion.
The one and only expansion for Isaac, “Wrath of the Lamb,” has arrived on Steam. Priced at $2.99, it adds a ton of content, nearly doubling the number of items, along with new rooms, characters, mechanics and secrets to discover. If you haven’t picked up the original game yet (and you should), it’s …
