Far Cry 3 has received a massive patch

6 March 2013 No Comment

Ubisoft has released a new patch for Far Cry 3 which implements a number of features requested by players. Among the biggest changes are the addition of a new difficulty mode, “MASTER,” and the option to reset liberated outposts so that they may be challenged again after finishing the campaign.

There are also new HUD options allowing for the toggling of most of the visual information elements. Multiplayer map makers now have the option of running beta tests of their stages before sending them out to the world to play, while players are now able to search for maps by author. Players are being given more time to vote on skipping a map also, and the idle kick timer has been plucked from private and custom matches.

That’s a nice little update, packing in expansion of the content with some user features I can see people being very happy about. Good show Ubi.
