May was largely a quiet month for new game releases. Despite what felt like a slower schedule, especially coming off of a rather absurd April, here on Destructoid we did have a pair of 10s with the portable Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D and captivating, clay-fueled puzzler The Swapper. In this behind the scenes trailer for Watch Dogs, Ubisoft Montreal gives us a brief rundown on the happenings in Watch Dogs‘ motion capture. Combat is obviously a big focus, with Aiden’s hand-to-hand movements looking like something out of a Jason Bourne flick.
Also, Aiden can stick his hands in his pockets. The next-generation is truly here.
In all seriousness though, it’s nice to see that even these little details aren’t being neglected in a game as open as this.

Paradox Development Studios’ grand strategy titles are not known for their multiplayer, but the Swedish developer is working hard to change this. Way back in cold January, I had the opportunity to spend a couple of hours with Europa Universalis IV – the next installment in the studio’s flagship series — playing against, and with, several other members of the press. I came away surprised by how well the multiplayer worked and eager for more.
Fast forward to early May, and I found myself in the Swedish capital of Stockholm. Around a …

The makers of World of Tanks will have a massive, 10,000 square foot booth at E3 this year where they’ll be showing off a handful of titles. It’s here Wargaming will be premiering their first ever console title, being developed by Wargaming West.
Otherwise we can expect new stuff to checkout with World of Warplanes, and we’ll be seeing World of Warships making its first public showing.
I’m honestly quite interested to see what Wargaming’s console title will be. What do you think it is?

Jasper Byrne, creator of Soundless Mountain, Lone Survivor, and the upcoming release New Game+ had a lot of new info to share with us on last weeks Sup Holmes (now on iTunes). We heard about the new graphics, new content, and new controls for the PS3 and PS Vita versions of Lone Survivor, how the music will play an integral part in New Game+, how Zelda, Dark Souls, Monster Hunter, and Dungeons and Dragons influenced its development, and so much more.
Probably the biggest bombshell was that all the new content coming to …

Are we past the point where I can stop warning people about spoilers? Well just in case, don’t watch this if you haven’t beaten BioShock Infinite yet. Actually, this won’t even make sense until you have gotten all the way through the game.
For those of you who have played all the way through, enjoy this what if scenario had things ended differently for Booker, Elizabeth, and other familiar faces from Columbia.
